Thank You Cochrane & District Community Foundation!
The Board of Directors of Cochrane Minor Soccer would like to acknowledge the generosity and financial support it has received from the Cochrane and District Community Foundation. The CDCF’s $3000.00 grant has made it possible for Cochrane Minor Soccer to purchase much needed soccer balls for next season’s games.
The Cochrane & District Community Foundation is a capital fund started by local rancher and businessman, Neil Harvie in 1993. The CDCF continues to exist due to the hard work of 12 local volunteer Directors who place a premium on giving back to the people of Cochrane. The CDCF greatly enhances the quality of life in the Cochrane area by providing funding to assist local charities and non-profit organizations with the completion of many worthwhile projects. Lafarge Canada Gives Cochrane Soccer Kids a Helping Hand
Stewart Hartford, Director, Cochrane Minor Soccer (on right) receives a cheque for $2500.00 from Joel Taguchi, Community Affairs Manager, Lafarge Canada Inc., Exshaw. Cochrane Minor Soccer would like to thank Lafarge Canada Inc. for its very generous donation and will be using these funds to assist with field rental expenses for the 2009 outdoor season.
